Okanagan Dream Rally
INSPIRE. CHANGE A LIFE. REPEAT.
The Okanagan Dream Rally is a very special charity event taking place in Kelowna, BC that is committed to helping children and youth in need while raising money for charity. The children involved in the rally are our “Co-pilots” which are thoughtfully paired up with their Dream Rally drivers to enjoy this special day together in the passenger seat in one of over 200 incredible participating dream cars.
With the Okanagan Dream Rally, we hope to provide special children and their families with an incredibly fun-filled experience of being in the co-pilot seat of a dream car for a day that will create memories to last a lifetime. In addition, providing opportunities for our community, public figures, and businesses to support a good cause and make a difference locally in their community.
Our mission with the Okanagan Dream Rally is simple. We want to put a smile on the face of a child in need and provide them with a day that they will never forget. With the help of incredible drivers, sponsors, and those donating towards this event, we are able to raise funds for causes that have a profound impact in our community.

The Rally Returns!
After a 2-year absence outside of our control we are excited to announce that the Okanagan Dream Rally will be returning for 2022! Stay tuned for more details to come.
Over 100 Supercar Rides!
On October 12, we took a total of 117 individuals (of all ages!) for exciting rides in some very special cars for an even more special cause.
Each 20 minute supercar ride was offered for $100 with all proceeds going to the Central Okanagan Hospice Association
$816,000 Raised!
The 2019 Okanagan Dream Rally raised $816,000 in support of Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon and KGH Foundation.
From the bottom of our hearts we thank everyone that came together to help make this day happen.
$425,000 Raised
2018 was our most incredible year yet, raising $425,000 for the Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon!
This was also the first year we hosted a Launch Party with a Live and Silent Auction the evening before the Dream Rally!
The COHA August Centre Opens
On June 7th, 2018 the COHA Board of Directors held a ribbon cutting ceremony in naming the COHA August Centre in recognition the August Family for their generosity in donating $221,000 to renovate a new space that would integrate all our community outreach programs and administration in a welcoming, warm, and inviting space.
$193,000 Raised
200 incredible cars with 200 special co-pilots going for the ride of a lifetime...
$193,000 was raised in support of Autism Okanagan, KidSport Kelowna, and Central Okanagan Hospice Association!
$124,000 Raised
In 1948, the dealership moved to its long time home at Water Street and Leon Avenue.
The Foundation
Founded in 2015, the August Family Foundation is our way of giving back to the community that has given so much to us. With the passing of Gary August, we realized just how much our community had touched him. We knew we wanted to create something that would ensure his legacy lived on in the Okanagan.
With such a deep connection in their loyal community spanning over the past 75 years, it seemed a fitting opportunity to return the support and respect that they themselves had received. The August Family Foundation began small but has flourished into so many amazing events, however none as spectacular as the Okanagan Dream Rally. The Okanagan Dream Rally is an exotic/sports car rally dedicated to children and youth who have gone through difficult challenges in their lives with the purpose of creating unforgettable moments to last a lifetime.

As two young entrepreneurs, born into a family with a long legacy in the Okanagan – we feel like the August Family Foundation is our way of giving back to the community that has given so much to us. With the passing of Gary August, we realized how the community touched him, and the life the community gave him. We realized this after the amazing amount of people who came forward with heart felt memories and condolences, we knew he was an amazing person but didn’t know how much he touched the people around him. I then realized it’s not what you have in life it’s the people in it that make the difference and for that I thank him.
Our first event with the Central Okanagan Hospice Association was very important to us. The organization took unbelievable care of one of our own Uncle Gary, The way that they were taken care of felt as though it wasn’t their job, it was their passion. Our focus with the August Family Foundation is to help charities within the Okanagan who have helped touched locals in the valley.
